Nevada Horse Trails is a statewide equestrian tourism resource dedicated to helping riders discover Nevada, explore responsibly, and experience everything our state has to offer. We connect equestrians with trails, camping destinations, travel resources, and educational opportunities, while working to promote and preserve the places we love to ride.

What We Do
Explore Nevada
Our free online resources help riders plan their next adventure with information about trails, horse-friendly campgrounds, trailer parking, public land regulations, and special destinations across the state. We research, ride, photograph, and document Nevada’s equestrian opportunities to make it easier for others to ride Nevada.
Learn Something New
Through hands-on workshops, virtual presentations, and practical educational resources, we help equestrians build the knowledge and skills they need to explore safely and independently. From truck and trailer safety to navigation and backcountry preparedness, our programs are designed for real-world riding adventures.
Support Our Trails
Outdoor recreation in Nevada depends on healthy landscapes, accessible public lands, and people willing to care for them. We’re committed to promoting responsible trail use, building partnerships with land managers and community organizations, and supporting volunteer stewardship projects that help keep trails accessible for future generations.
Grow Equestrian Tourism
We believe Nevada has tremendous potential as a destination for equestrian travelers. We’re working to raise awareness of Nevada’s riding opportunities, showcase equestrian-friendly communities and businesses, and collaborate with tourism organizations to better serve visitors traveling with horses.
